About Lewis Mackinnon

Lewis Mackinnon is a Scottish actor from Inverness. He appeared as Anton Nyberg in the Netflix series Young Wallander and as the Scottish physician and poet William Beattie in the popular ITV drama Victoria. He starred alongside Sir Patrick Stewart who voiced the dragon Drago in the Universal Pictures DragonHeart franchise film, DragonHeart : Battle for the Heartfire and was the lead in the film Attrition which played in Oscar and Bafta qualifying festivals including the Rhode Island International Film Festival and Krakow Film Festival. This role earned Lewis a Best Actor Award at the HorrorOrigins Film Festival and the film went on to win the Director's Choice Award at Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema and a Cthulhu Trophy at FilmQuest.
