About Alam Surawidjaja

Alam Rengga Rasiwan Kobar Surawidjaja (December 24, 1924 – May 12, 1980) was an Indonesian actor and director from the 1950s to 1980. Alam was also the main actor in the film "Si Djimat". Alam made the film "Janur Kuning" which tells about Indonesia's struggle for independence in regaining its independence which was retaken by the allied forces. In his film, actor Amak Baldjun was nominated as the best supporting actor at the Indonesian Film Festival.
