He is best known for his television roles as Don Alberto Salvatierra in Los ricos también lloran and as Don Fernando in Destinos: An Introduction to Spanish. In film, he appeared in The Exterminating Angel (1962) as Carlos Conde and in Pedro Páramo (1967) as Father Rentería He was born in Alicante, Spain, and died in Mexico City, Mexico.
