Carlos Alberto Squeff Soares (Arroio Grande, June 11, 1925 — Rio de Janeiro, May 6, 2007) was a Brazilian actor. He began his film career in 1952, participating in films such as Carnaval Atlântida, Pão de Açúcar, Ravina, Rua Sem Sol, E Eles Não Voltaram, O Craque, among others. On television, he started at TV Record, participating in the cast of the telenovela O Desconhecido. Later, he was hired by Rede Globo, becoming a heartthrob in numerous telenovelas between 1966 and 1970, a period during which he was married to actress Yona Magalhães. In 1970, the two went to TV Tupi, where they acted in Simplesmente Maria. After the end of their marriage, he remained at Tupi and Yona returned to Globo. Wikipedia.
