He received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Ray Davies in the hit West End musical Sunny Afternoon, which charts the early years of The Kinks, a role he reprised in 2025 in Chicago and on the UK tour. As a musician, he has released three studio albums: Quitting Smoking (2020), Sirens and Sea Monsters (2023), and The Death of Lucy. He lives in Hastings with his wife and children.
