About Vince Rogala

Vince Rogala is an American musician. From 1980 to 1990 he played synth and sax in a pop-rock synth band, Exude. His brother Frank was lead singer and their friend Robin Canada played keyboards.  They had a novelty hit, "Boys Just Want to Have Sex," a spoof on "Girls Just Want to Have Fun." Two of Exude's videos, "Chattanooga Choo Choo" and "Safe With You" were shown on MTV. In 1990, the Rogala brothers and Canada revamped Exude into NC-17, with a grungier sound influenced by Pink Floyd. Filmmaker Dov Kelemer chronicled the band's struggles in "Won't Anybody Listen," which played on cable, at several film festivals, and at a few theaters. It was submitted for consideration in the documentary category for the 2001 Oscars but was not nominated. NC-17 became inactive in the early 2000s. Rogala currently lives in Michigan.
