MARGIE STOKLEY is a multidisciplinary artist, published playwright, recovering catholic, former epileptic, and non- breastfeeding mother of two young boys. She attended NYU, Tisch School of the Arts. The death of her brother, a US Marine in 1998 led her to step back from acting and take on writing. Her first full length, ELEPHANT was produced and then published in multiple books and anthologies. She is pursuing her MFAW at Goddard College. Upon acceptance, she was granted the Engaged Artist Award and her plays THE DEEP END and M.O.M were chosen for publication in The Pitkin Review.
