Italian actor, director and comedian Roberto D'Antona was born in Taranto, he is the youngest of four children. He was just eleven when he took on the starring role in his first short film. In 2006, he joined a theater company and even if Roberto was suffering greatly from the separation of his parents, he faced the future more determinedly and continued to hope to shine on the big screen. From that moment his acting career started. In 2010, Roberto worked as assistant production and actor in several important music videos. In 2012, after starring in several short films, commercials and series, Roberto became nationally-renowned thanks to Dylan Dog: Il Trillo Del Diavolo by winning the Best Fan Film 2013 to Cartoomics: Fan Film Festival in Milan. In the same year he directed and starred a no sense web series called A.Z.A.S: All Zombies Are Stupid. The series has won five awards in LA Web Series Fest 2013 in Los Angeles (USA), including Best Director and Best Comedy/Horror Series. In 2013, he made one of the most award-winning Italian web series in the world, Johnny, that led Roberto to win even as Best Lead Actor and Best Villain. Many movies and short films followed, but the character that will make him famous is the weirdo sado-masochist Condom in the movie Insane. He won with this character four awards of excellence, among them that of Best Supporting Actor at the London Film Awards 2014 and at the American Movie Awards 2015. In 2016, he will play the main character Sam in the award-winning television series that he wrote, directed, produced and created: The Reaping. In 2017 has his first Italian theatrical debut with the thriller movie The Wicked Gift written, directed and interpreted by him.
