About Stacie Hansen

Stacie Hansen (born June 11, 2008) is a Canadian actress and director. She began her her career as a child actress playing Harley in the short film she wrote and directed; Alive (2021). Hansen went on to play Kimora in The Celebration (2022), which she co-directed. Her most recent role was playing Martina in her new short film A Twist of Tea (2022). Hansen began her career as a director in 2021 after she entered a local Film Festival, she then went on to direct two more films. Hansen was born in Calgary, Alberta. She was seven years old when she booked her first role. Hansen's mother, Tanya Hansen, who has also appeared in all of Hansen's films so far, was a permit extra on multiple popular shows in the 90s, most notably, The Commish (1991). Hansen got into acting because of her mother. Hansen's first film role was playing Cell Group Child #1 in The Mayflower II (2020). She took a break from acting for almost five years before deciding to pursue it as a career. Before she became an actress, Hansen was a competitive dancer for twelve years. She won her first competition in 2016 at the age of eight and later went on to win Miss Dance Icon at the 2019 Thunderstruck competition in Las Vegas. Hansen also danced in the Disneyland Parade and Showcase in 2020. After the Disneyland Parade and Showcase she quit dance to pursue a career in acting. In November 2021 Hansen submitted the film Alive (2021) to a local Film Festival, using only her cellphone to film. The next year she teamed up with a group of adults to create another film The Celebration (2022), which won audience choice. That same year she entered the 48-hour challenge receiving a Genre (Sci-fi), Prop (Green Crepe Paper) and Director to imitate (Tim Burton), while filming Hansen and her team made the local paper. Just recently Hansen wrote her new film Bystander (2023), and it was officially selected to a local film festival. This is Hansens first film to be officially selected. Notably, this is also Hansen's first film in the Action/Thriller genre. When not working, Hansen attends an online school and maintains honor roll status. She enjoys drawing, dancing, playing video games, singing, golfing and Ice skating. Her favorite sports are golf, dance, boxing and badminton.
