ActingAbout Steve Driver
Steve Driver, born Stephen Clancy Hill, was an American porn actor from Maryland. Driver had been living in the Ultima DVD studio in Van Nuys since early 2009, where he also worked, and was told on June 1, 2010 that he was being fired and would have to leave the studio. Driver went berserk and attacked three people, including fellow performer Tom Dong, with a prop machete that he had taken from a set and sharpened. Dong later died in a local hospital. Four days later, police got a tip that Driver was in a home in West Hills, and called in the SWAT team to arrest him. Driver escaped to a nearby cliff with a "sword" and threatened to kill himself. SWAT made several attempts to disable him with non-lethal rounds, but Driver ultimately jumped to his death to prevent himself from being captured.
