He joined World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2015 and became a defining figure of the NXT "Black and Gold" era, capturing the NXT Championship twice and winning the NXT Tag Team Championship and the WWE Tag Team Championship twice alongside Johnny Gargano as #DIY. He left WWE in January 2026 and signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a one-time AEW TNT Champion.
