Simko, Bishkok and Taco are ten years old and the most mischievous children in the village. One day, they go to a mulberry tree down in the village. Taco starts to tell the story of a small lake a little further down the creek; he tells them that in his time that lake was the home of Djinns and Fairies who kidnapped Ihsan the Mad and held him captive there. Simko thoughtfully goes home and asks his grandmother about this story. His grandmother tells the rest of the story and Simko falls asleep...
