This one dragged. It gets a touch of respect from me as 'Christmas in Toyland' at least doesn't end in the ultra cliché way where everything goes to plan and the main characters get exactly what they wanted at the start. It is very much still cheesy and all that jazz though, as you'd expect. I just found this 2022 release to be a bit bland. Vanessa Lengies' Charlie is alright as lead, though those around her aren't all that memorable - Jesse Hutch sticks out most, if only via a process of elimination. The film does have festive vibes and the aforementioned cheese, so it'll work for some audiences I'm sure. For me, it's likely not one I'll recall in a few weeks.
