Critic Reviews for Daybreak
You know what, I actually enjoyed this. I wasn't too sure about 'DayBreak' early on and I wasn't anticipating all that much from it based on the first chunk, though I have to say by the end I did in fact enjoy this 2018 flick. It's very low-budget, but the filmmakers managed to create something passable in my opinion. The acting isn't anything to shout from the rooftops about, though what is produced is satisfactory - they all try and I appreciate that. Rashane Bird is the pick of the bunch, naturally, as lead. The special effects surprised me most, again they aren't anything out of this world but they are way better/effective than I thought they'd be. Cool to see this come out of Barbados. I'd watch it again, no question.
