Kaanekkaane (As You Watch) is a slow burner family drama about man's vices. It starts to give a whiff of something amiss right from the initial frames thanks to the haunting score which I feel I have heard somewhere else before. Suraj is terrific and Tovino comes close second but somehow Aishwarya felt like she was not in control. Maybe it's her character. A decent late night movie experience at the home theatre (again thanks to the score) but somehow the end looked moral-less to me. Also reminded of Vikruthi for some reason. Worth a watch.
