Kalel, 15 is a Drama movie that Surrounded by tensions and secrets, a teenage boy searches for validation and navigates life with a dysfunctional family following an HIV diagnosis....
This movie is black-and-white, it's sad, it's brutal sometimes, and yet it's one of the most beautiful movies I've ever watched. Elijah Canlas rightly earned international recognition and best-actor awards for his outstanding portrayal of an HIV-infected boy, the movie itself gained prizes for the unvarnished description of the social reality in the Philippines.
