What do you call an action movie, with little actual action? You could call it "Mantis" but I'll simply call it boring. This film has no idea what it wants to be. It starts off well enough but then gets mired down in a morass of ideas, a romance, an assassins business venture and other innocuous nonsense. Acting is decent and sets are well done, action is solid too. So why the hell not build on that formula? In summary, this is what happens when you don't adhere to core premise your film is based upon. Its a common failing these days with writers who try too hard to be clever, when the "simple" answer is right in front of them. Suffice to say, one to avoid.
