Critic Reviews for Monkey's Teeth
I watched this Short for the first time a Few years ago and it still lives in my brain rent free, I discovered this after veiwing rene laloux's other work of la planet sauvage/ fantastic planet & gandahar and was excited to discover that his short film lead in a more darker tones but still really preserved the awkward uneasyness to laloux creative expresions. The films Drab city setting creates a bleak tone that is reminisant of delicatesant or the bizzare work of vewncreating an isolating and lonely existance of our protagonist. Really enjoyed and a great addition to laloux's profolio of work
