The Doorman Synopsis

A former Marine turned doorman at a luxury New York City high-rise must outsmart and battle a group of art thieves and their ruthless leader — while struggling to protect her sister's family. Okay suspense-thriller, has elements of Die Hard. Not the best material but I guess some interesting direction and the stunts were passable. Even though she's not the strongest actress, I generally like Ruby Rose and she's fine in the lead as is Jean Reno reminding us he's alive and well (can't remember the last movie I saw him in). As direct-to-video movies go, I thought it was entertaining enough. **3.0/5**
