OK, I might be the only one that didn't like this that actually enjoyed the animation. They were going for a Heavy Metal, American Pop, Lord of the Rings. Vintage 1970s animation epic look... and that part they pulled off. I actually thought "How did i miss this one?" It looks the part of the old cartoons that had pretty awesome stories behind them. The only problem is the story wasn't epic. It wasn't awesome. It had all the elements for an old epic made for adult nerds cartoon... but it was a little too scattered. The transitions from one story to the next were too jumpy and abrupt and the pay of at the end didn't link it all together with enough significance to make it at all worth the wait. This took 7 years to make... but that could have been used to refine the story.
