Holy Cow. I have a good memory, I have vivid memories of a lot of things, but this one left an impact. I was 14, just starting High School, bored out of my skull, sitting in my parents basement on the parents basement couch that everyone grew up with in the 90s (thing the Longview Music Video) and... ... Witch Hunt came on. It wasn't long before I was shocked by what I was watching. The plot was just out there, the Fx were cheap but the sets were cool. It had a Sam Spade feel, a Sam Spade setting, only.... with magic and weirdness. It turned out to be one of the more entertaining movies I stumbled on, and it sucked me in enough where I had to stop what I was doing to actually watch it.
